The startup was launched in 2026 in Mauritius by seasoned US, Italian, and French venture entrepreneurs with domain expertise in IT startup development and real estate worldwide.
The company's local ambassador in Mauritius and its co-founder is John Popel https://linkedin.com/in/johnpopel, who personally vets the listed accommodations in the country and verifies their legal owners.

How it works
Just browse Rentdnd listings, checking short/long-term options, rental prices, locations, amenities, photos, and videos, and click on the "WHATSAPP THE OWNER" button on the homestay you like.
You will be transferred to the WhatsApp chat for the homestay ID you are interested in, so that you can proceed with the homestay's legal owner via his personal WhatsApp. After that, you will be able to discuss everything with him directly, without any middlemen.
To protect the platform and landlords from spam and agencies, you can have up to 10 landlord WhatsApp contacts per day. Usually, that is more than enough to choose and book your homestay in a single evening.
